Cranio-Sacral Fascial Therapy

What is CSF?

Cranio-Sacral Fascial Therapy works with fascia: the connective tissue that wraps every muscle, bone, and organ in your body as one continuous web, head to toe. Over the years that web accumulates strain from injuries, surgeries, stress, and ordinary daily wear — and because it’s all connected, a restriction in one place can show up as tightness or discomfort somewhere else entirely. This approach also works with the slow, gentle rhythm of the fluid surrounding your brain and spinal cord, which gets restricted along with everything else when the fascia is pulled tight.

A session can look like almost nothing is happening. You stay fully clothed, and my touch is very light — I’m feeling for where your body is holding and following where it wants to go, rather than pushing it somewhere. Clients often describe warmth, a deep settling, or small involuntary movements as the tissue lets go. Others feel very little during the session and notice the difference when they stand up. I find it especially useful for chronic headaches and jaw tension, old injuries that never quite resolved, and for people who are in too much pain or simply too sensitive for deep tissue work. If you’re wondering whether it’s a fit for you, just ask — I’d rather talk it through than have you book something that isn’t right.
